Already introduced the new BMW M4 Coupe back in December last year, the company is now launched its newest M series convertible. It is called the 2014 BMW M4 Convertible, which will be show off during the New York International Auto Show later this month.
To gets smooth and efficient power delivery, reduced fuel consumption and emissions as well as very sharp response, the new BMW car comes with a number of features. It’s including the M TwinPower Turbo technology that combines with High Precision Direct Injection, two fast-responding mono-scroll turbochargers, Double-VANOS continuously variable camshaft timing and Valvetronic variable valve timing.
Alongside the top speed of 155mph (by electronically limited), the BMW M4 Convertible is able to reach from zero to 60mph in 4.4 seconds only, while the pumps out is 425hp. Increased for improved power output, it has six-cylinder engine with a closed-deck crankcase design. The car is also concern to reduction in engine weight, which uses the cylinder bores with a twin-wire arc-sprayed coating (instead of liners).
Meanwhile, the 2014 BMW M4 Convertible car is delivering a range of weight saving measures and a lightweight design. Sadly, pricing of the BMW M4 Convertible has yet to be provided.
