BMW has just officially announced a new four-door Gran Coupe car, the enhanced 2016 Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. Although that is a very long name for a very high performance car, it is offering widely recognized for aesthetic beauty and impressive driving performance.
According to press release, the 2016 model of BMW Alpina B6 gets more power and torque thanks to a revised fuel system and air intake. The car is utilized an engine to produce 600hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, that is about 60hp more than the 2015 model.
The BMW ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is available as a special-order vehicle with capacity-limited production underscoring its exclusivity. The B6’s body is manufactured in the BMW 6 Series factory (Plant Dingolfing) and hand-finished with the remaining ALPINA components at the ALPINA factory in Buchloe, Germany.
The 2016 BMW B6 Alpina xDrive Gran Coupe also gets some updates on the outside with a new front spoiler and fascia along with a new Alpina hood design. The big twin turbo 4.4L V8 engine can push the car into 60mph speed from a standstill in 3.6 seconds making this the fastest accelerating Alpina model ever made. The 2016 BMW B6 Alpina xDrive Gran Coupe car has a 200mph top speed, which is electronically limited.
BMW adopt advanced electronic suspension technology into the car to make sure the 2016 BMW B6 Alpina xDrive Gran Coupe is able to handle better. The AWD system is full time AWD for improved traction. The car also gets updated brakes with blue calipers and white Alpina lettering on them. Company plans the USA deliveries for the B6 Alpina will be start in June with order banks opening in March. Pricing will be announced at same time when the car is launch.
