Aston Martin Lagonda concept
The Lagonda is a prototype rather than any of the models manufactured by Aston Martin in its history. Has the form of vehicle, traction engine and a total V12. It is probably the basis on which to work for Aston Martin to launch a new model, which came to market in the coming years.
It has four seats and, according to Aston Martin, its interior is defined by the latest technology (touch screens rather than in controls many functions).
Aston Martin Lagonda says the engine is ready for using different types of fuels, from gasoline, E85 or diesel. It could also incorporate hybrid technology.
Aesthetically is distinguished from other models of the mark by the body heights (the proportions are similar to the Porsche Cayenne or the BMW X6) and the large front grille. The pilots and elongated headlights are also very different from those of models such as the One-77, or even the legendary Aston Martin Lagonda of 70-80 years.
Brands Aston Martin and Lagonda were working on the production of cars since 1947. Since then, several Aston Martin Lagonda has technology and vice versa. Lagonda happened to produce very limited quantities of their cars to virtually disappear.
In 2008, Aston Martin Lagonda announced it would return to the activity on the occasion of its centenary (2009). The Lagonda was the first prototype project.
