Audi TT RS: Photo and Details
Audi returned to produce a five-cylinder engine from the Audi TT RS, which will be presented publicly at the next Geneva Motor Show. Its engine turbo 2.5 liters slack exceeds the 300 hp and allows a fast acceleration and driving pleasure only comparable with its unique sound.
The legend returns to scene. Not surprisingly, the petrol engines with five cylinders have a long history at Audi. And the direct-injection turbo engine in the TT RS is merely the bearer of this exciting new tradition. This is a mechanism that allows the TT RS realize some benefits out of the ordinary. Thus, only five seconds is enough to reach 100 km / h. Its top speed is limited to 250 km / h.
The set of transmission permanent all-wheel drive, a sophisticated chassis and a superb team of brakes tuned perfectly to the mechanics of power. In short, the TT RS, with its lightweight chassis and built almost entirely of aluminum Audi Space Frame technology, is a machine more than respectable.
At the Audi press conference held at the Geneva Motor Show (Hall 1, booth 1060) on March 3, 2009 will provide additional information.
