BamGoo: electric car with bamboo

We know that the bamboo (bamboo) is one of the alternative materials which began being used as a substitute for hazardous materials or recycled difficult but as a replacement for the car body?

At least that is displayed in the city of Kyoto, Japan on 2 November 2008 ago.

Bamboo car (called BamGoo) with a weight of 60 kg was made by students at Kyoto University as a part in making the car a friendly environment. This car uses electricity that can run as far as 50 km per hour.
