GMC Terrain, adaptation of Chevrolet Equinox

GMC has moved one week with the presentation in the New York Hall of Yukon Denali Hybrid and the Terrain. This is an adaptation to the brand of Chevrolet Equinox, with which it shares dimensions, engine and mechanics in general. The aesthetic is similar to that of the other GMC models, making them seem so important to the Yukon above.

The interior is almost identical to the Equinox, which only differs in the coats of the mark and some differentiators. The engines available are a 2.4 Ecotec 182 hp and 264 hp 3.0 V6. The first of these will come with a very original device called ECO, which is to change the torque converter to 1125 rpm to reduce consumption and emissions.

The equipment has elements as Multiplex (to move the rear seats up to 200 mm), rear parking camera, XM Satellite Radio or Active Noise Cancellation, which detects unwanted sounds through a microphone and generate waves on the speakers to address sound. The first is that this system is used in General Motors but we have already seen in other models like the Honda Legend.

The sale in the U.S. this summer, the price is about $ 2000 higher than the Chevrolet Equinox, meaning that start from $ 25,000 to the level of access.
