Loon, Solar Powered Boat

This boat has been built using recycled plastic, along with other organic materials like bamboo and natural fibers. It is the result of joint work by Jason Hill and Nathan Armstrong Eleven Motive Industries of the same team that designed the eco-car aptera.

Solar panels located on the roof of the boat can generate up to 1000W of power.

With 22 feet long, could go up to 55 kilometers at a maximum speed of 7 knots.
