MS Queen Elizabeth ship is owned by Carnival Corporation & plc and this ship is also operated by Carnival UK. The MS Queen Elizabeth is a cruise ship of Cunard Line fleet, which has total weight of 92,000 gross tons. It is capable of carrying up to 2,092 passengers and about 1,000 crews. The MS Queen Elizabeth ship is the second largest ship ever built for Cunard, after the RMS Queen Mary 2.
MS Queen Elizabeth was formally handed over to Cunard on Monday October 4th 2010. It is sailed on her maiden voyage from Southampton on October 12th 2010. The voyage will include calls at the Spanish port of Vigo before heading for Lisbon, Cadiz, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma and Madeira.
The MS Queen Elizabeth ship has become the replacement for the retired of MS Queen Elizabeth 2, which gave up the sea two years ago and was sold to Dubai after his retirement and will join the Cunard fleet, which already has the Queen Victoria and the famous of Queen Mary 2.
