Honda will bring their latest Civic car at the Geneva International Motor Show next month. Called the Honda Civic Type R, some more details and teaser photos of the newest car have been revealed by the company through its press release. Honda says the car was able to reach with careful aero work that using both computer simulations and wind-tunnel testing. It offers to enjoy high-performance from Honda Civic Type R.
A new, almost completely flat underside aids airflow under the vehicle and combines with a rear diffuser to optimise downforce – effectively ‘sucking’ the car onto the road. A bespoke rear wing gives the car enhanced visual presence and delivers powerful additional downforce, thanks notably to the structure of its airfoil section.
Speaking of engine, the Honda Civic Type R will be deliver a top speed of 270 km/h or 167 MPH. Thanks to the 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. That’s direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder and expected to make something on giving the power of 300 horsepower and redline at 7000 rpm.
The front bumper has designed to smooth airflow around the front wheel wells. It’s also heat management that handled by vents punched through the front fenders both above and behind each wheel.
