New McLaren Car for 2009 season
McLaren is the third team to present its new car for the 2009 season. Presented on Friday 16 in the past McLaren Technology Center in Woking.
With a completely different aspect to his predecessor, presents major developments in aerodynamics, the front wing is wider and lower, the rear wing more compact and narrow, have been eliminated all small wings and additions placed by the monocoque, giving an much more smoothly and easily to the MP4-24. In short it is a car that adapts to the rules imposed by the FIA for the year 2009 for the World Formula 1.
The champion Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen were the companion star of this event.
This past Monday was the debut of the McLaren MP4-24 at the Algarve circuit in Portimao, on the day of training scheduled for this date.
