Nissan Grand Livina Comes with Quality
With the Nissan Grand Livina you get a MPV that comes with quality and assembly that is a clear step up from the cabin that you find in the immediate competition and although it is not what you would term as premium, the interior is very respectable for the price point. The standard model comes with fabric seats that mirror the plush material used in the Latio and leather is available as an option for that touch of luxury.
Seven full-size (3rd row seat allows for adults on short trips) seats are available, with standard folding configuration for the second and third row benches. The final row is commodious enough to hold adults for short to medium haul journeys, thanks to the reasonable legroom. The second row features a split-folding configuration but the last row does not, curtailing slightly the flexibility of the seating arrangements. Beyond borrowing its platform from the Latio, this new Nissan MPV also utilises the engine range found in its popular family car sibling.

The most affordable variant is invariably the smallest of the lot and fitted with a manual transmission. As engines go, the i.6L CVTC engine is one of the better examples around, making 105 PS along with i5oNm in a smooth manner. Drive comfort is relatively sophisticated compared to its competitors, with a tautness that steers clear of harshness. The dampers also boast the ‘ripple control’ feature that was originally pioneered in the Skyline models, which claims to eliminate high frequency road imperfections. Just like the Latio, the Grand Livina is set to be a strong contender by offering the size and space from a segment higher while weighing in at a price comparable to its perceived class competitors.
