Opel Insignia category Sports Tourer Paris Show
These are the first official plans for the new Opel Insignia field, premiered at the Paris Motor Show on October 2nd. The third option to join the Insignia range after the 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback models will be called Sports Tourer and will be available on European markets in spring 2009, with a choice of seven different powertrains.
Compared with the sedan, body after all B-pillars is unique and, though less dynamic than his two other brothers and sisters, Sports Tourer is one of the first break Opel models that you actually buy May for his style. Opel is not to disclose details, but the German automaker said that, parallel to the existing three petrol and two diesel units that are already available at launch of the sedan models, the new insignia Sports Tourer begin two new engines, reducing gasoline engine turbo and a new turbo diesel. In addition, Opel is also working on a variant Ecoflex low fuel consumption and emissions of CO2 levels that will be added to the range in the near future.
As for the rest of the Insignia range, the Sports Tourer is available with all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive, while buyers will also be able to opt for the new system mechatronics FlexRide raises the stability and provides real-time, electronic depreciation.
