Tata Pr1ma in Geneva
The alliance of Tata and Pininfarina has since few months ago and given its first result. The Indian Company has filed in Geneva on Pr1ma, a prototype designed by Pininfarina and it might inspire a future production model with the Tata come back in 2012 to compete in the European market with more force than has car.
This is a four-door sedan with a sportier air than usual in the segment, in line with the Opel Insignia among others. However, does not suggest in any particular aspect, which would limit sales in Europe where the market is dominated by premium brands, followed by models that go beyond the classic in the segment. Inside, we know nothing yet, so it certainly has not much to highlight.
Although its release is still far off, a model will not be frowned upon in Europe but have only part of the sales pie. It seems more focused to compete with the saloon from a compact (Toyota Corolla Sedan, Citroen C4 Sedan, etc) that the four-door saloons themselves.
