As part of the presentation of the fifth-generation Polo, the Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion Concept has been Geneva Motor Show, which is a prototype for now but will reach production in about a year. Like the other BlueMotion achievements, notable for reducing consumption and emissions compared to the normal version.

The engine choice is a 1.2 TDI and 75 CV. The main improvements to reduce consumption are the incorporation of start-stop, tires low rolling resistance, changes in the relationships change, aerodynamic tweaks, etc. In this manner, Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion has an incredible consumption of 3.3 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of just 87 g / km.

When you reach the market, the Polo BlueMotion has many similarities with the prototype, although it is logical to think that there will be slight changes due mainly to the approvals or reduction in the price of manufacture. In a few months we will know more of this interesting model.
